We had a wonderful time visiting Jacobs Creek (learning the fascinating history) where our driver Phil went out of his way to take photos of us with the old delivery truck and then it was onto Saltram Estate. Our lunch stop was at the South Australian Company Store was delicious, and it started off with a delightful tasting plate before our main dishes were served. Unfortunately, not enough time to spend in Hahndorf but then that means we'll have to go back. A great day out. Well worth it. Thank you.

Although they said pick up was complimentary

Although they said pick up was complimentary, I still had to walk around 1km from my hotel to their closest pick up point. Staff was friendly and the trip was nice overall. Really enjoyed my time in Jacob's Creek. The staff was indeed very nice and informative. The second one was alright, but just a bit of a let down as compared to the first one. The trip to Hahndorf was fine also. I mostly enjoyed shopping for handmade products there.

I thoroughly enjoyed the day tour and I had a excellent day ! Michael was a great Host with vast knowledge about everything in and around Adelaide. Adelaide is a great city with lots of things to see and do. If you have only limited time like I did than you get certainly most out of it with Adelaide sight seeing they have a selection of full day tours. I was particularly interested in doing the Barossa Valley and the Hahndorf tour which you can combine to do a full day tour. Both very nice places well worth to visit. I give this tour five stars When I go back to Adelaide than I know who to book another tour with Adelaide sightseeing tours. I Went January 9 2017

An excellent introduction to the Adelaide Wineries and the Town of Hahndorf
Terry M 4 years ago

An excellent introduction to the Adelaide Wineries and the Town of Hahndorf. Picked up from our hotel on Currie St at the designated time. Transferred to the main bus depot, signed in and away in under 15 minutes. Good Adelaide highlights narration on our journey up to the first of 2 wineries then onto an excellent lunch at the S.A Company store restaurant in Angaston. After lunch, a quick stop off at a lookout then onto the town of Hahndorf for around 70 mins or so. An excellent town that we will probably stay over for a night next time we are in Adelaide.(so much to see and sample) Overall, we would recommend the tour if you only have a day to spare as we did. Good value for money- 5 stars!!

This tour will take you on a journey into the historic Hahndorf, situated in the picturesque Adelaide Hills. This town still retains its proud German heritage which can be seen in its buildings. Bring your walking shoes and be ready to take in all the German history, treats and wine.
